With an entrepreneurial spirit, I joined Snow Hill's Historic Arts and Entertainment District.
My studio is located in a 1920's building located at 302 N. Washington Street. . . a work in progress. There is always something that needs to be done, but it's all good.
On a Saturday afternoon, you may find me chatting with other artists, showing them different techniques, or kicking back in a little sitting area, sharing some food and discussing our work.

E. Tolliver 2009
After 35 years in the computer and financial industries, I now create free style porcelain and stone pottery and teach ceramic arts to willing students. I've been doing this for more than a decade, and feel that I am finally doing something that I truly love.
My students say I bring forth their talent by giving them the space to learn with a sense of humor and fun. I like that. . . some say it's their therapy. . . a place where they can express themselves without pressure. . . it feels good to see people be themselves with clay.
You see, I always want everyone to win.
Playing in the mud allows otherwise structured adults to enjoy the type of fun that they either forgot or never had as kids. And for the kids, well they get to self express without too many rules.
In addition to my art and other adventures, I've been working on my first novel. If I can let go long enough, I hope to have an editor take over and let me know if it's worth publishing...
